Going for breakfast at Bar La Rocca (now renamed Bar Emporio, because it is a little emporium stocking all sorts of useful staples such as bread and milk alongside completely unnecessary but irresistible gifts) is always a treat because of the friendly welcome and immaculately prepared cappuccino costing just EUR 0.90. Some visits to the bar are more interesting than others, though. This morning, for example, I walked in to find Sandro (the bar’s co-owner) dwarfed by a giant Easter egg and two equally giant lemons, which I found out were not lemons at all but citrons, grown in Amalfi and Sicily.
