Yesterday Capena held its first Threshing Festival, complete with vintage tractors, threshing demonstration and dancing to a live band.
The lady from Central Market, which apparently helped to sponsor the festival, told me that their aim was to promote rural activities that used to be important in Capena in the past.
Perhaps this ties in with the return to wine production?
I am just a little concerned because I bought five raffle tickets, only to discover that the prizes were a live calf, live lamb, live rabbits, live hens or live chicks!
