Da Felllicino (yes, with three l’s) is one of Capena’s most popular and longest established restaurants, offering exactly the kind of starters (including an excellent bruschetta), main courses and desserts (like the crema bruciata, or crème brûlée, shown here) you’d hope to find at a good trattoria, plus a few surprises too. And the prices are very reasonable.
The restaurant is a steep climb up the hill from the Casa Capena properties, but at least it’s an easy stroll home.
