Today we wave a sad goodbye to Kerstin and Peter now that their all-too-short week in Italy has come to an end. They really have been the most entertaining guests and – better still – really seem to have enjoyed Capena and adapted to the quaint local lifestyle.

It’s a shame they are leaving today because they will miss Portobellarocca, yet another brilliant initiative by the hard-working Gabila. This is a weekly flea market held in the Piazza del Popolo on Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm. Anyone is free to offer up to three items, including crafts and second-hand books clothes etc.

Gabila has also designed a really cute poster to advertise the event in the unmistakable Wachtmeister style.
